i started noticing the generational divide in politics shortly, you know, when i started american affairs and actually went around talking to different groups about politics. A n income, race, whatevera ended up being biggest predictor of whether we could have a good conversation or not. And even with people under forty five, there was no real sense of what major problems were once they got into older age.
