JavaScript Framework - The Overhead?
You can open up a text file, call it on a dot HTML file and throw everything in there. And you can have a full JavaScript working little web app without having to build anything. You need some sort of way of compiling your code so that the browser can read it. Data fetching is very much built into a lot of these frameworks. It's not just something that you all of a sudden wake up and know, this is stuff that you have to learn.
