The First Commandment Is a Matter of Faith

God is displeased with Solomon because he doesn't believe in him alone. When God says you show up in other gods, he's basically saying, hey, believe only in me right? Me your trust. So it's interesting how each of these stories are interwoven with the life of Israel and especially we're going to see in this one where Moses comes back as someone who makes trouble for David.
