How to Cannulate an Arterial Line
You have to choose your weapon. Some prefer the standard angio-catheter, which is basically just an IV catheter over a needle. Others prefer the integrated guide wire needle assembly. The next and probably most important step is ensuring good ergonomics. Use a wrist roll or an arm board to dorsiflex and secure the risk.
