How to Respond to Unexpected Alarms
The last simulation that we ran before the Apollo 11 mission, halfway down through the descent, we get a similar type of alarm. It means two things are trying to talk to the computer at once. I call on a board. Steve called on the boards because he'd never come across this or any other computer alarm before. As Gene Krantz explained they needed to set out how they should react if any of these alarms appeared during the actual mission.
