HSV Related Lumbo-Sacrol-Ridiculitis

An MRI that showed some sort of swollen, particular fibers consistent with sickro-ridiculitis. He actually has an LP and the CSF shows lymphocytic pleocytosis with about 150 cells. And ultimately his HSV2 PCR and the CSf was positive. His serology is also positive. This was ultimately a diagnosis of HSV related lumbo-sacrol-ridicula which I learned has another name, Ellsberg syndrome.
