I think every emotional expression has the capacity to, to be sacred. It's about the directions of our emotions and how honest we're capable of being about them. I've gotten really used to suppressing my anger as a black woman because I'm so terrified of only being seen as this trope of the angry black woman. What anger does is kind of illuminate that for you. And so I've started to try to reclaim my anger as this, you know, undeserved gift of knowledge.
