How to Use a Discount Rate in a Competitive Economy?
With interest rates so low, it means that future cash floes are being discounted at a far lower rate than would otherwise be the case. The problem is is that people are keeping their historic groth forecasts for economy and businessis whereas they are using a very different difficult a far lower discount rate when it comes to the economy. Andso i don't think you can have your cake and eat it.
