The Importance of Training Volume in Endurance Capacity

To build Vio2 Max, we have two major pathways, intensity and that is the correct intensity. Most age group athletes are limited mostly not by their intervals nor by their long run or long bike but by their total training workload. If you want to maximize your performance at Sprint or Olympic distance, you also need to try to maximize your training volume.
