In private sector, we don't talk about honor in the private sector and I wish we did. It's different than reliability or trustworthiness. The best elements of the military understand that they are fundamentally values-based organizations. Some of the things they can do better, their bureaucracy is debilitating. Their ability to innovate is slow and lumbering and old-fashioned. They can't get out of their own way in many respects. And I wish some of the chiefs of staff would literally fire the people who are well-known blockages to innovation.
A few weeks ago, I put out an open call on social media to see what questions my listeners have for me. And there were a LOT of responses.
