Risk as a Diskursive Tool

Sally Kohn: I think like, what's really interesting about risk as a kind of discursive tool in that way is that it doesn't really depend on a state body for authority. Right? Like these old eugenic regimes were really about, you know, you can't do that. We're taking away your ability to do this. We're sterilizing. What this does is it depends,. this depends on the individual, what risk says, right? Because it actually depends on theindividual and their choices. It's actually empowering you to choose more and better. Skelton: So much of this depends on this like raw data being captured or whatever and then interpreted.
