Can We Accept the Negative Side of American History?
I would start by probably giving some of the words from frederick douglas and his, you know, in july, i think was july fifth, 18 two, he gives this speech. What is a what to the american slave? Is your fourth of july? I Think that's a good place to start. Can we sit in the historical context, the good, the bad, and fight in again, then find the beauty? Cause i don't necessarly want to stay in the negative. Neither, right? But can we acknowledge the damage that's been done, acknowledge the work that we still have to do, and then find thebeauty of aspiring
