i really enjoy this another historic materials comp with the the northern lights lovely and just the visuals of this stretch you know. Joel is reminded of how young ellie is because when she first asks for the booze he says no he does eventually give it to her but his initial instinctive responses i am not going to give this literal child my full ass full of hard liquor are awful moments like having to shoot brian. There was something that harkened back to the before times in this moment that ireally enjoyed  and of course it builds up to the oh it's we exchange whichWhich was wonderful and becomes another through line of this episode with when it is we do after the fires yeah
