In august of this past year, we had that extraordinary scene of the taliban capturing carbell. And i think it was absolutely devastating for a lot of people who still very sincerely believe that that was achievable. It feels like that's been an industry in in the united states, and also in britain and wte the liberal west, for some decades now. The idea that you can just roll democracy and have a kind of liberal world view out world wide, er at gun point, if necessary is founded on sand.
