The two are intertwined, but they're also different. One is the authority and the other is the influence, right? And if you have both, you're kind of in a really positive spot in the leadership position. If you can be in control, but not have command of the incident, you don't have the positional authority to command people in that particular incident. It's important to know where you fit in that equation.
