The Role of the Al-Hahaba'it in the Life of the Church
The idea of a Pope came from Isaiah chapter 22, when there is this role of the al-haba'it. Peter himself was a failure as well, right? Peter denied knowing Jesus. And yet what does Jesus do with Peter at the end of the Gospel of John? He says, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? Yes, Lord, do you know I love you? Feed my sheep.
