Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has proposed a plan to make public colleges, universities, tuition free. The proposal would also end the federal loan program that's really helped raise the cost of college. 'I think it's unconscionable' that Harvard is asking students from inner city neighborhoods to pay $40,000 a year for undergraduate tuition when they have hundreds of millions in their endowment,' he said.
