The New York City Heat Problem
Students at the Flatiron School created an app to monitor heat levels in New York City apartments. They used a web enabled sensor that can detect temperature, vibration and orientation. The project was part of NYC Big Apps Competition, which is the largest civic hacking competition in the world.
