i was reading about your par parents, and they're both kind of fascinating people. I come from where, i suppose, a fairly writely background, but different styles. My father was, as you say, a ccorear journalist, and so much more engaged with the world than my mother. She was more aesthetic, a interested in more in aesthetics, like culture, culture stuff. And so she would a, ya, drag, drag us all to younowith. We'd all be taken to exhibitions and concertsand, you know,. And at that point you thought of, my god, what the hell am i to thing stink to the thedor?
