Occupation of McCormick Theological Seminary and Armitage Avenue Methodist church

This chapter discusses the occupation of the McCormick theological seminary by the young lords in Chicago in 1969, as well as their occupation of the Armitage Avenue Methodist church. It explores their demands for urban renewal and social services, such as affordable housing, parks, a daycare center, a Puerto Rican cultural center, and a people's law office.
