Are You Signalling to Yourself?
Do virtuous signalling also count? If some one does something virtuous just so they can see themselves as virtuous, so, you they can pat themselves in the back? Ye, i think a lot of this is self signalling. You're doing something, not necessarily to signal to others, but to signal to yourself, including your future self, to say, i'm a good person. And that's a leget thing to do also, um, and that can account for a lot of, like truly anonymous charity donations. Wat has what ideas that you teacher students have gotten the most push back.
