Native American Mentoring Programs at Claremont Colleges
The most recent example I can think of in terms of programs that have been successful has been teaching at the Claremont colleges. And so what if we just created a space around indigeneity and really think about having a mentoring program that centersindigeneity, you know? The students felt supported because often they're like one of one or one of two from their communities that end up in higher ed but also how to use your education for empowerment. You know, we're in these spaces and it's hard and it's isolating but how do we give back to our community?"
