The Truth About Toxins in Plants

There's a lot of pseudoscientific ideas that plants have toxins. We spent thousands of years cultivating these plants so they don't have toxins in them, right? Because guess what? Toxins are bitter. So all we have to do is breed plants so they're not bitter. And that's why there are some plants. But they're looking nothing like they did in the wild. That's part of the reason why our crops are so susceptible to pests. It's just willful ignorance. Totally.
