The Future of Women Artists

There's a very strong representation of feminist themes and women artists. But there's also very open activist art, such as Zina Sarawiwa whose father was executed by the Nigerian state over his protest about Shell. The whole show offers this really interesting aesthetic approach, which is to think about Africa not really geographically. This isn't about what West Africa's doing or what South Africa's doing - it's aesthetically about how photographers look at each other.
