This reminds me of shark fin soup. It's just using a very small portion of an animal, and then the rest is just tossed back. The disregard for living creatures is just insane to me. These feathers are obviously used for luxury items. No one is going to die if they don't have a plume hat. Like, this is just totally ye. It's all fashion related, nothing of importance. They also hunted the carolina parakeet, which the only us. Native parrot, and the passenger pigeon. And they hunted them so incredibly irresponsibly that it directly led to their extinction.
