The Importance of the Temple
The temple was known as the place of worship is known as the White House of the people of Israel. Jesus had a deep and profound reverence for the temple, but he also announced the coming destruction of this splendid building. The Romans in response to a Jewish rebellion, they encircled the city, they besieged it, they destroyed the temple.
