Is Parental Leave a Career Break?

Aan, i don't see parental leve is a career break. I think about it as like long service leave. We don't often get to take long service leave now because people working jobs that long. And so anything two months and longer, i think would count as a career breaks. But i know lots of women have found taking time out has set them back. It's important for mams who have their full time job, working with their family should not be set back in their career.
