I mean, paper is timeless. And we talked about this actually, on your show, the analogue versus digita. All right, you can use paper to to facilitate any sort of system, and then you could apply digital tools to make it more efficient. So it's very versatile. It's very timeless like that. And there's a lot of value there. I guess i'm a little bit skewed, and you maybe are too, because what i do for a living is i look for more efficient ways to solve these problems. And so for someone like me who's reading this book, it's kind of smacking me in the face, like, why not just use this tool to solve this problem? But 20 years from now, that tool probably isn't going to be around, whereas that printed emal ferry might, very well could be. If you have actually a paper base storage system that allows you to find it again,

right right now. This, this is a good sigway here, because one of the quotes that i had sectioned off here that i thought was really interesting, becauseu knw, we've had this discussion before abouta analogue and digital. I'm im going to read this. Its just a quick paragraphed hereit's about the tools that are used within g t d. Here's what he says. Keep in mind though, that the tool you use will not give you stress free productivity. That is something you create by implementing the g t d method. The structure you incorporate will be extremely important in how you express and implement the process, but it is not a substitute for it. A great hammer doesn't make great carpenter, but a great carpenter will always want to have a great hammer. I

I thought that was really interesting, because how many times do we see arguments or discussions about, you know, to doist is better than omnifocus, or, you know, omnifocus is still better than to do, like, how many times have we seen these articles and stuff come out about, you know, the best task manager out there i i think it really depends the person. I don't know how many people i've had email me asking for comparisons of bcause i write a lot about omnifocus. I'm a huge scripter, and i'm in it all the time. And i get a lot of emales about comparing omnifocus to another ap. It really just depends on how you want to operate. I've recommended people just using reminders on their iphone before, just cause that's the one they like and it's the one thatw for them. It just really depends on how you want to operate. I even had a guy, you mail me this morning, sos, he does everything on note cards. No worriif if that's what works for you and it's what gets it off your mind and you can get stuff done, i wouldn't fight it. Yea,
