Scientists found that magicians had their own models of how things work in the brain. They mixed expertise from ocular motor function and perception with expertise from apollo robins, for example,. And found that there were instances where attention was being used in a certain way with a certain kind of eye movement - though he didnt know it had anything to do with eye movements. When he moved his hands in another way, you had a different kind of eye movements. And your attentional system works differently during those types ofEye movements. So what we found was that scientifically, that attention was changing its mode of operation with these two different kinds of eye movements, which wasn't known scientifically before.
