The Gay Cancer Crisis in New York
In 19 81, we started having tiny mentions that something was being seen in new york. By the end of the year, 121 gay men had died from cases of severe immune ficiency. Federal health officials were concerned that tens of thousands more homosexual men may be silently affected and therefore vulnerable to what has now been reported as potentially grave ailments.
