Introduction

China Mayaville is the author of King Rat, Perdido Street Station and The Scar. He also has a short story collection looking for Jake. His new novel is The City and The City which takes place in two cities at the edge of Europe that have an unusual relationship with each other. It's his first foray into crime fiction but he was inspired by his mother who loved to read them.
