The word emotion has a conceptual space that historically at least in Western culture is associated with things like weakness or frivolity or non-usefulness. As we learn more about let's say the emotional circuit motifs and the integration of emotion with cognition, does that change our conception of emotion enough? Do those boundaries of concepts do they need to be kind of blurred as well?
