Sustainable Agriculture Practices in Urban Areas
Most urban farmers are not growing food on land that they own right so they have a security of tenure issues. And oftentimes these sites are completely funded on a shoestring, sometimes grant funding a lot of volunteer labor. A lot of the sustainable agriculture practices that people use are really reliant on ecosystem services and soil building or from insects or plants from trees etc. These things are all, you know, disrupted to some extent in urban areas.
