The Failure of the Cinanon Program

D. Drake, founder of Cinanon, wanted to turn addicts into human beings. He created a co-mingled population where blacks and whites were accepted as willingly as whites. The program's success rate was low: 95% split between members who left early or stayed drunk for months on end. D. Drake tried to change the culture by bringing in black panthers from Oakland Police Dept. To make his own image more attractive he set up game groups for children.
