How Can We Help the Poorest in Society?
People who have the most to gain from reducing their energy consumption are generally the poorest people. But they also can't afford these very steep prices to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. To help the poorest in society fundamentally requires a redistribution of resources from the wealthiest to the poorest. We need to make sure that af we do all this at speed, or house a minute, or house and a half a minute, which we're going to have to do, everybody understands it and is on board with the kind of changes tht were goin to make.
