Is There a Play Cell in the Hippocampus?

This is the calcium imaging study you're talking about where they'd look at a live mouse with a microscope looking into the hippocampus and which neuron is actually firing in terms of light. They would blink. This is an expected finding. I think what's new here is they are using a sort of functional way of measuring activity. And it's pretty cool. So this group is one of the pioneers in these mini scopes. These are like these small microscopes that you can implant on top of the mouse's head. It's able to image into the hippocampus. But they don't talk about play cell at all in this game.
