The Union's Ambition to Reposition the Union

I'm keen for the union, yes, to be out there pursuing a tough, progressive agenda for working people. We're now part of an amalgamated union that has embraced the proud history of the M.U.A. who have got a really, really strong history of fighting for social justice. And we certainly have big aspirations that our union has a lot to offer in the policy debates which affect workers in this country. You've seen that now with us taking up the mantle on investment into social and affordable housing. But you're right and saying that there's been a sort of concerted campaign from conservative political forces and their friends in the media if I can say it to distract from
