What if the Browser Was a Redistribution System?
Technology inverts the previous to paradime. What if there was a redistribution system where you picked an article into the browser? Very high quality publication. And by virtue of making a selection, one of the writers makes moneyy. The economics here are very interesting. I i feel unhappy wen the word curation, because to me, that's something happens in museums. Aggregation was a bad habit of people' stealing other people's stuff ten years ago. So it might as easily be that if we could somehow get articles at the article level, rather than subscription, then in practice, publishers would find it much more attractive to hand out passe through links freely to curators.
