My next money win comes from Bailey Jean who said I applied for a job late last year but wasn't successful until a few weeks ago when HR called offering me the same role. It's usually got nothing to do with you personally, but rather the business at the time needs to pick the candidate who has the most things that tick boxes,. Because obviously they're trying to feel a role and get a job done. And pragmatically, if someone has more experience, they might be better at it.
