Can the Fed Counter Fundamentally an Inflation That Came From Out of Control Fiscal Policy?
The view that inflation is always and everywhere only a monetary phenomenon is false. The cost of war, even 50 billion dollars every six months, that's nothing compared to world war two. So the feds position is, can it counter fundamentally an inflation that came from out of control fiscal policy? Like they've got their hands on the hand brake? But the gas petal still is still floored. And i think h the prize for silliness goes to the president for a for yelling at gas stations to lower their prices as the way to stop inflation.
