The Probability of a Future

In an experiment, people pre-cognize what the result will be. And it turns out that what they will name is the most likely number to come up. But there's a possibility it could be some other number. The wave function of a particle is a mathematical description where physicists calculate certain things about let's say an electron. It becomes definite in one state that is probably like what they saw, but maybe not what they saw.
