Todd Rungren's "I Got Psychedelic We're Fine Now"
Todd Rungren has this really great signature way of using chords and I don't know enough about music theory to tell you exactly what it is that he does. It just makes me so happy. And it also just sounds to me like music for an old psychedelic cartoon with shapes and things floating around. Once again I agree with Mike even though I don't think I like the song as much as he does everything he says is accurate about it. So apparently Rungren did not write this side of the album as a sweet. He wrote individual melodies. Realize that they did not need to be expanded to songs and then put them together. That's a pretty deep trick he does by
