I am going to ask you if you would to read an excerpt from your book. And and hopefully this will be a bit of a transition, because i have more, let's say, philosophical question for you after you read this excerpt. A number of years ago, i was invited to a party at the home of a novelist whose book i'd worked on. There were in attendance more than a few noteworthy actors and actresses. It seemed that the actress had written a book. I must tell you that when i was sent the copy edited manuscript and saw it all covered with scrawls and symbals, i was quite alarmed.
