Do SSRIs Work in OCD?

There's five different SSRIs fluoxetine fluvoxamine confusingly paroxetine sertraline and acetalapram. They all work for somewhere about two-thirds of people will get benefit I mean that leaves a third who don't. SNRIs are also combined drugs that work on both serotonin and noradrenaline there's no actual research using those drugs in OCD but they can be used. The final medication is a much older tricyclic antidepressant called clumipramine and the tricyclics were some of the earliest antidepressants that you know were made available in the 1950s and 60s.
