The Psychology of Conspiracy Theories

Timothy Stanley: Post-modernism is about moving between islands, never going onto one island but keep moving between them. He says people are trusting science much less than they used to and instead trust information that their auntie has told them or that somebody has come across on the internet. Stanley: I'm interested in why people will opt for these sorts of explanations that they will find that aren't particularly factually based rather than information derived from science.
