What Are the Main Lightning Implementations Right Now?
T-Bass: Lightning Labs was started in 2016 when after the lightning paper by Taj and Joseph Poon was released. Rusty started working on how to convert that research paper into something that could be actually done. So I'd say there are four main implementations today. There's also Electrum who has a complete lightning implementation. But I think that they'll be lagging behind recently on the latest changes.
