The Importance of Listening to Your Scene

The difference between a boring cliche script and a beautiful moving specific and new feeling script are just a few little tweaks. The scene that you just watched or just listened to, if you're listening, the scene from episode nine of shrinking is not a new scene. It's an old scene looked at a little bit more specifically with a couple of little tweaks. And in fact, if you've seen up, this scene is actually in dialogue with that scene. That's what a homage means, right? If you actually have that scene from up in your mind, you think you know where this is going and you're so beautifully and pleasantly surprised to realize it's actually going somewhere else.
