The Importance of Externalizing Context
When we are missing context, we tend to fill in the gaps ourselves. Our brain tends to generate context where we do not have it. Instead of populating my terrain with all these scary tennis balls, you know, what are people thinking? I started to kind of like build out these sort of work benches with people. Then this interesting thing that happens with emotion is I started to let emotion kind of come in at the end around the completion. That's serotonin. And not letting emotion be kind of the front end block or decider of how it was going to work my day.
