The army uses interventions prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy which have both received their own criticisms including that they're a little bit like quick fixish. These programs are supposed to last like 14 weeks but the difference is you're sitting one-on-one with a therapist you're going through your trauma figuring out what your triggers are.
