Predictive Processing

The perception in this view is a process of the brain continually trying to minimize prediction error. The describe a framework which we now call predictive processing. In normal perception our hallucinations are rained in by their controlled by signals from the world and hallucination. You can think of these as uncontrolled perceptions it's the same mechanism but the brain's best guesses have lost their grip on reality.
